We disagree with Oklahoma’s stance that commercial property inspectors require no education or licensing beyond that of general home inspectors. Commercial building inspections call for a foundation of technical knowledge above and beyond that of a general home inspector. Systems are more intricate pieces of equipment, and building structures more complex. A commercial inspection requires the inspector to make observations, conduct research, and report findings at a more technical and in depth level.
